About the artwork

Photo "Shadow lines in the woods": During an enchanting early morning walk in the misty woods of Montferland, I captured this beautiful image. Nature is enveloped in a hushed atmosphere, with the shadow lines playing a game with the diffuse light penetrating through the mist. In the wintry January month, most trees are bare, so the focus is on the structure of the branches and the patterns they form against the background of the misty environment.

A special element that enhances the photo is the presence of wisps of vapour rising from the frost-covered plants. This vapour is heated by the sun's rays and creates a mysterious effect, as if the forest is breathing and coming to life in the cold morning air.

The colour palette in this picture is subdued, with soft greys and subtle hints of green where a few evergreen plants can still be found. The whole picture exudes a serene and peaceful atmosphere, inviting the viewer to experience the calm and beauty of nature.

"Shadow lines in the forest" is a tribute to the enchanting and mystical beauty of nature, even in the seemingly silent and barren winter months. It reminds us that even in the absence of colour and lush greenery, nature is always able to amaze us with its intriguing shapes, textures and subtleties.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
