Claire van Dun Profile picture A wonderfully silent sunset on Lake Veere. One that can rightly be called serene. The empty jetty lies quietly in the still water. In the background you can see Veere, with its church and clubhouse 'Het Akkoord' bathed in the light of the setting sun.

Personally, I love these kinds of sunsets where peace and softness seem to play the leading role. I captured the photo "Silent sunset on Lake Veere" in Zeeland with a long shutter speed, which makes the clouds fade a bit and the water surface even more still, to enhance the tranquility and serenity of the moment.
