Spider web in a misty forest

The artwork ‘Spider’s Web in a Misty Forest’ depicts a delicate spider’s web, covered with hundreds of glistening dewdrops hanging from the threads like pearls. The threads form an elegant pattern of rays and arches and run diagonally across the image, with a small, dense spiral in the left-hand corner. Fresh green pine branches extend into the frame at the edges, framing the web. The soft, diffuse light of a misty morning makes every droplet glisten and creates small, clear reflections. The background consists of a tranquil, blurred woodland in deep green and grey tones, with a few faint circles of bokeh.

The cool green and silvery tones, together with the tiny points of light, lend this design a quiet, fairy-tale atmosphere full of detail and tranquillity.

Throughout the centuries, the spider’s web has been a symbol of patience, craftsmanship and the interconnectedness of all things in nature, and these dewdrops show just how fragile yet strong that delicate web is.

Thanks to its soothing green colours, this print is perfect for the wall of a living room, bedroom or workspace, where it brings the outdoors indoors, and it is available in a range of materials and sizes.
