About ‘The small water lock’ by Frank's Awesome Travels
The Netherlands is a land of water. Many canals and other waterways criss cross the country and to maintain a decent water level everywhere, so-called water locks are needed to make sure vessels can go from a lower (or higher) water level to a higher (or lower) level.
