About ‘Time to clean! #1’ by Lex Schulte

Little cleaners seem to be working on cleaning up this old CarlZeiss. The figure behind the lens is enlarged by the elements incorporated in this vintage lens and therefore appears larger. These small figures are about two centimetres high and are often used in model making or model railways. The dolls are on a scale of 1:87 and therefore easy to use in photography. It often produces a funny or alienating image. This form of photography falls within the scope of macro photography, but is also often referred to as miniature photography.
