Unique Panorama Vase

This unique ‘vase panorama’ painting depicts an elegantly shaped vase with an undulating, almost fluid neck that tapers into two graceful points, as if the glass had been captured whilst still in motion. The entire surface is interwoven with fine, twisted lines in a spectrum of magenta, turquoise, orange and violet, which blend into one another like oil on water against the deep black silhouette. Only on the most curved parts of the vase does the light catch these colourful lines, leaving the rest of the form shrouded in mysterious darkness.

Iridescent streaks of colour against a black silhouette, combined with an whimsical and unique design, give this photo print an enchanting, almost cosmic presence in any room. The interplay between complete darkness and vivid, oil-like flashes of colour creates a striking contrast, whilst the thin lines evoke a sense of movement and fluidity, as if the vase might change shape at any moment. These subtle reflections of light lend the composition an elusive, almost magical depth.

This image is reminiscent of the art of twisted, iridescent glassware, in which chance and craftsmanship converge in endlessly varying colour patterns. By allowing the form to largely dissolve into the darkness and letting only the lines of colour speak for themselves, a fascinating interplay between presence and illusion is created. Nothing in the lighting appears random; each illuminated area reveals just enough to pique curiosity. This enchanting artwork is perfectly suited to a modern, artistic or daring interior where mystery and colour converge. Available in various materials and multiple sizes, the fascination of this vase remains compelling on any scale.
