About ‘Upstream’ by Ellen Borggreve
Woodland stream with beech trees hanging over the water. This stream lined with trees looked utterly charming and painterly with the strings of ivy hanging from the trunks and the dull greens of summer. The water was very still that day which created a mirror image of some tiny branches that a nice bit of detail to the photograph.

Ellen Borggreve is a landscape photographer and author of Woodscapes and Praxisbuch Wälder fotografieren, among others. She was born and raised in the woods of the Veluwe where her love for trees originated. Besides forests she also likes to photograph Dutch coastal scenes.
