Vibrant Peacock Portrait

A close up peacock portrait fills the frame, crowned with a textured crest and an intense, watchful eye. Iridescent blues and teals blend into deep midnight tones, while the plumage opens behind the head in a fan of peacock eyes. Look closely at the layered feather marks and the tiny color specks scattered across the background, they add motion and a sense of celebration without stealing attention from the face.

The inspiration comes from the peacock as a symbol of beauty and confidence, and from the way light changes color on feathers with every small movement. I wanted to capture that shifting shimmer in one clear, iconic view.

The atmosphere is vibrant and uplifting, with a touch of elegance. For me, it is about owning your presence and finding joy in color.

Layered watercolor washes and textured brushwork create depth, while a light neutral background keeps the composition clean. In an interior, it becomes a striking focal point for a gallery wall, a creative studio, or any space that needs color and character.
