Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Vintage postcard: Rotterdam Markthal’ by Frans Blok - photos, art and other wall decoration

There is really nothing in this picture that was there a hundred years ago, in the time of the black and white postcards. The Markthal, in the center of the photo, has only been around for a few years. It makes it clear that this is not a real vintage postcard but an artificially aged digital photo of very recent date.

Original created by Frans Blok - photos, art and other wall decoration.

World maps and reliefs made from unique materials, vintage postcards, and futuristic space art, graphic interpretations and painterly edits, artist impressions, and abstract geometric art. But also more "traditional" photography of cities and…
