Whale — First Light Becoming

This work depicts a whale in the bright, early light beneath the water's surface. Sunbeams break through the waves and illuminate the deep blue, as if the ocean itself is slowly awakening. The animal's movement is calm and fluid, carried by the rhythm of the water.

The whale embodies depth and inner space. In this image, it is not on its way to anywhere, but fully present in its movement. Its power is silent, its direction self-evident. It is a moment in which everything is right without explanation — in which size and softness coexist.

Within the First Light Kin collection, this work represents the beginning of inner space. Dawn symbolises a new consciousness; the whale represents the ability to carry, feel and move with confidence. It is an image of unhurried presence, of knowing without words.

This artwork invites you to slow down and sink into tranquillity. It reminds us that a new beginning can also be deep and spacious, and that movement sometimes arises from drifting rather than steering. A tranquil, powerful work that opens up a space and evokes a sense of calm and confidence.
