2 colourful birds panorama

The ‘2 Colourful Birds’ panorama depicts two stylised birds looking at one another, composed of countless coloured geometric shapes reminiscent of stained-glass windows or a mosaic. The outlines of the birds, their round eyes and curved beaks are clearly recognisable, whilst their bodies are filled with a colourful mix of red, orange, blue, green, purple and yellow. The sharp lines between the coloured shapes give the whole a crystalline, almost faceted appearance, with each shape having a slightly different shade or intensity.

With a vibrant mix of bright colours and sharply defined geometric shapes, the result is a photo print that is energetic, modern and visually exciting all at once.

The inspiration for this image lies in the mosaic and stained-glass traditions, in which natural forms are constructed from countless coloured facets, combined with a modern, cubist take on form and composition.

In a playful, colourful space, this artwork immediately catches the eye, and thanks to its availability in various materials and sizes, it can easily be tailored to suit any interior.
