A colourful nuclear explosion in a glass vase

The painting ‘Colourful Nuclear Explosion in a Glass Vase’ depicts a rounded glass vase from which a mushroom cloud rises. Inside the vase, dense clouds of smoke swirl in shades of blue, violet and peach, whilst a bright orange-yellow glow burns at its centre. A column of fire shoots up through the neck, unfolding above the vase into an enormous cloud of the same hues.

The comparison with a real nuclear explosion is no coincidence, but the result looks more enchanting than threatening. The smoke is composed of countless tiny curls and folds so detailed that you can almost touch them. The light comes entirely from within and shines through the glass, causing the base of the vase to glow in warm amber and the clouds to be illuminated from below. The deep black surrounding it keeps all attention focused on that rising spectacle.

That combination of cool shades of purple with a golden glow gives the work a rich and luxurious feel. Above a sideboard, in a modern hall or against a minimalist wall in the living room, the image is given the space it demands.

For anyone who loves surrealism, smoke photography or images where beauty and power converge, this is a print that keeps drawing you in. An explosion that remains neatly contained within a vase, yet demands your full attention.
