A beautiful Alfa Romeo GTAm during the 2017 Youngtimer Festival Spa at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the Dunlop FHR Langstreckencup, in the chicane. Which is also known as the 'bus stop'.
This car competes in a class that organizes longer races.
From way back, I thought this car looked wonderfully sporty, powerful, stocky and fast. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to photograph racing classic Alfa Romeo's all over Western Europe. I did that for the Alfa Romeo Challenge, among others.
And then suddenly there is that moment when the sun goes down and this beautifully executed Alfa Romeo, designed by Bertone, comes driving up. And then you just have to be there! I have edited this photo so that the left side has less color, showing off the details of the car, and the right side shows the characteristic colors of the curbs on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
