About ‘Along the Salmon River’ by Steve Henderson

Surrounded by rugged mountains, embraced by the river, a small farm nestles within its wilderness landscape in Idaho, USA.

It's quiet here -- really really quiet -- because it's a difficult spot to reach, and there's really no reason to be here unless you live on this farm.

The artwork, Along the Salmon River, invites you to step into the river (It's okay -- it's summertime, and though the water is cool, the air is warm, and your feet quickly acclimate) and splash through the current. Perhaps you're fishing; some people do, and that constitutes some of the major "traffic" in the area.

Or perhaps you just want to be in a quiet place, and you remember what it felt like to wade through a river when you were a kid, and you're feeling like a kid today.

It's rather a perfect place to be for feeling that way.
