American Aster - "American asters are some of the last species to be used by pollinating insects and will have seeds available to wildlife throughout the winter. " This tiny white American Aster loves our garden. We have honeybees and we are always looking to keep wildflowers beneficial insect use as food source. This one I photographed at bird-eye view looking right down onto the flower. It is a cold early fall morning and the flower petals are covered in morning dew. It is rather difficult to get a macro photograph of this tiny flower. Every little breath of wind will set it in motion. I am in love with this tiny flower and don't mind waiting for just the right moment to take the picture.
