Angry Afro cat

The ‘Angry Afro Cat’ painting depicts a black cat with an enormous, woolly mane that billows around its head like a dark cloud. The coat is so thick and fluffy that its ears are barely visible, whilst fine, light-coloured hairs outline its features against the black background.

It is the face beneath that gives the work its power. Two amber-coloured eyes gaze at you from beneath furrowed brows with an expression that leaves little to the imagination. This cat is clearly not happy, and that only makes him all the more amusing, as that enormous fluffy ball surrounding him undermines any attempt at menace. Long white whiskers fan out like fine lines against the darkness, and the coat is made up of thousands of tiny hairs that catch the light just enough to remain visible without breaking through the black. The beautiful colours and exclusive design make this photo print an eye-catcher that effortlessly holds your attention. Whether you hang this piece in the living room, a playful study or the bedroom, it brings a sense of humour, character and quirky charm wherever it goes.

For lovers of cats, of animal portraits with a strong personality, or of art that makes you laugh, this is a print that never fails to delight. This cat is having a bad day and is letting everyone know it.
