In the year 1640, Dutch painter Albert Eckhout painted his painting ‘East Indian market stall in Batavia’.
A few years later, in 1652, Dutch painter Frans Jansz. Post produced his painting ‘Landscape in Brazil’.
In 2024, I merged both paintings into this new tropical scene.
