Bauhaus retro silhouette figure

This Bauhaus-style retro silhouette painting brings a quiet and thoughtful profile to life in a clean and artistic composition, in which large areas of midnight blue, mustard yellow and cream combine to form a geometric facial profile that feels calm and stylish. This distinctive artwork showcases a soft, paper-like texture across the smooth colour fields, with rounded and straight forms overlapping to capture the silhouette in an artistic and contemporary manner. The deep, earthy and warm tones lend the piece a refined appearance that subtly yet powerfully reflects the strength of an inner thought.

The face looks to the right and is defined by the sharp lines of the forehead, nose and chin, whilst the large circular shapes on the left act as thought clouds or hair, drawing the eye back and forth between light and dark.

The warm, muted colours make this piece an elegant choice for a mid-century, Scandinavian or modern interior. On the wall of a living room, study or hall, it adds structure and a touch of retro charm, whilst above a sofa or in a bright hallway, it lends the wall a smart, tranquil feel.

Lovers of Bauhaus, graphic art and abstract portraits will find this painting a creative piece that invites contemplation on any wall.
