Blue in layers of silence

A layered composition of leaves and delicate blossoms unfolds like a botanical dream in cool blue tones and soft beige nuances. Transparent shapes overlap, creating a play of shadow and depth. Some leaves are bright and sharply defined, while others fade into almost ghostly silhouettes in the background. This interplay of sharpness and haze gives the work an almost photographic double exposure, but translated into a painterly style.

The colour scheme – ranging from deep midnight blue to light grey-blue and warm beige – creates an elegant, understated atmosphere. Small white blossoms subtly light up between the dark leaves, like fragile accents in a sea of blue. The composition feels organic and free, without a strict centre point, allowing the eye to wander gently across the image.

What stands out is the balance between tranquillity and complexity: despite the many overlapping shapes, the whole remains light and breathable. The work exudes refinement and fits effortlessly into a modern, Scandinavian or Japandi interior.
