Botanical Maze

A highly detailed, surrealist landscape depicting gigantic, fantastical flowers and alien-like fungal structures set against the backdrop of a dense, mystical forest.

The conceptual basis of this work combines a profound fascination with botany and mycology with the aesthetics of vintage nature studies. The focus lies on the exaggeration of biological forms and the creation of a self-contained, fantastical ecosystem. Through the deliberate omission of realistic proportions and the dense, space-filling arrangement of the elements, a visual overwhelm is created which characterises the motif as a pure object of the imagination and transports scientific precision into a fairy-tale dimension.

This motif fits perfectly into eclectic living spaces, creative studies or mystical reading corners. It enriches any interior design concept that emphasises maximalist details, visual depth and a mysterious, atmospheric presence.
