Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Camadas - Layers’ by Western Exposure

This rustic, abstract monoprint was inspired by worn and weathered paint layers on walls, boats and such - the patina of time.
This work was created using acrylic paints on a gel plate and combines harmonious warm and cool colours, alternating both in the canvas division and in the layers.

A few years ago I started to create digital works, based on my photographs or purely in Photoshop - the latter mostly as abstract works. Recently I have also started working with acrylic paints.
