Decorative vase: blue and red panorama

This decorative blue and red ‘panorama’ vase features a classically shaped vase whose glaze is bathed in a marbled play of colours comprising deep blue, coral red and bright turquoise. Flowing, marbled stripes wind vertically across the curve, between which stylised floral and leaf motifs in fresh turquoise and warm red are incorporated. The smooth, glossy surface gently reflects light, causing the blending colour transitions to suggest a lively, almost fluid movement against the uniform black background.

Fresh shades of blue and red in a undulating, exclusive pattern give this photo print a surprisingly vibrant look in any room. The flowing marbled texture contrasts beautifully with the more sharply defined floral shapes interwoven throughout, giving the composition a look that is both dynamic and refined. Every colour transition and every fine line in the glaze has been captured with remarkable precision, lending the surface a rich, almost cast-like texture.

This design is reminiscent of the technique used in marbled glasswork, in which molten colours blend into one another during the manufacturing process to create unique, unrepeatable patterns. By allowing floral motifs to blend with these flowing bands of colour, a successful interplay between craftsmanship and chance is created. Nothing in the pattern looks contrived; every line and shape seems to have fallen into place organically.

This vibrant piece is perfectly suited to a modern, artistic or eclectic interior where colour and movement are valued. Available in various materials and multiple sizes, this vase makes a striking impression on any scale.
