Delft Blue Rabbit

The artworks in the Delft Blue album combine tranquillity, contrast and refinement in a single recognisable style. Against a deep black background, the subject stands out powerfully, as if displayed on a pedestal in a quiet gallery. The blue and white tones subtly refer to classic ceramics and Delft-inspired ornamentation, but the stark lighting and minimalist composition make the whole contemporary and modern. Each image is rich in detail: fine patterns, soft transitions and an almost tangible sheen give the work a luxurious look without becoming overwhelming.

Whatever you see in the artwork—a shape, an object or an iconic silhouette—the focus is on balance and simplicity. The generous negative space creates breathing room on the wall and makes the work feel calm and stylish, even in a busy interior. From a distance, it works as a graphic statement; up close, you discover new nuances in texture and line. As a result, it fits effortlessly into different interior styles, from Japandi and Scandinavian to modern classic, and remains captivating for a long time.
