Rainbow Lobster

Rainbow Lobster depicts a lobster with two large, upward-pointing claws in a vibrant colour palette. Orange, yellow, pink, turquoise and blue are arranged as separate, angular patches across the body. Long, thin antennae extend upwards between the claws. Narrow legs protrude on both sides. The tail is made up of distinct segments and ends at the bottom in a broad fan.

The light, warm-grey background has a visible, rough texture. Against this, the bright areas of colour stand out powerfully. The left claw is mainly yellow and turquoise, whilst the right claw features more orange and pink. Dark accents along the edges and joints lend the creature depth. The vertical posture and the almost symmetrical claws hold the composition together, whilst the irregular brushstrokes create a sense of movement. Small, light details break up the saturated areas.

This colourful kitchen wall art suits a dining room, kitchen or creative workspace with a calm backdrop. The expressive colours lend this recognisable sea creature a playful character. Turquoise, yellow or pink accessories can complement the claws and tail. From a distance, the large claws and the long body shape are particularly striking; up close, the small legs, antennae and various surface textures become visible.
