Freedom above the Añisclo Gorge

High above the deep Añisclo Gorge, a bird of prey soars through the vast sky. Far below, the impressive landscape of the Spanish Pyrenees unfolds, with wooded slopes, deep ravines and monumental rock faces. The bird emphasises the vast scale and unspoilt freedom of this mountainous region. An adventurous panoramic photograph for anyone who dreams of mountains, wide open spaces and journeys to faraway places. About the photographer Born and bred in Amsterdam, Peter Bartelings feels a strong connection to his city. Over the years, he has frequently captured Amsterdam on camera, from iconic spots to lesser-known cityscapes. Cities and landscapes both at home and abroad, as well as nature and macro photography, also form part of his versatile portfolio.

As well as photography, Peter is involved in digital art. In this, he combines photography and image editing, giving classical masterpieces, amongst other things, a contemporary, sometimes surprising twist. Peter’s work is regularly sold and has now found a place on walls in various European countries.
