Lamborghini Jarama in Golden Tuscany

When I began this painting, I wanted to hold onto a feeling more than a place. A deep maroon Lamborghini Jarama rests on a winding Tuscan country road, caught in the last golden hour of the day. Its quad headlights, chrome trim, and wedge-shaped lines carry the quiet confidence of 1970s Italian design. I painted them with care so the car could stand out against the landscape.

Around it, I let my brushwork loosen. Thick impasto strokes, where paint is layered so heavily it gains texture, shape the asphalt, the rugged stone walls, and the rolling hills beyond. Slender cypress trees rise like silent witnesses, while olive trees shimmer silver and gold on the slopes. Distant farmhouses dissolve into a soft, hazy sky.

The light became my true subject. Warm amber, terracotta, and honey tones spill across the hood. Purple and violet shadows stretch behind the car, giving the scene its depth and calm.

To me, this Jarama is more than a machine. It speaks of journeys shared, of timeless European grand touring heritage, and of the moments we pause to simply look. I hope you feel that same stillness, and perhaps remember a road of your own.
