Lost in Soft Blossoms

A close-up of a flower rendered in a dreamy, almost fluid style. Soft shades of blue, white and subtle hints of beige blend into one another, leaving the shape of the petals only partially defined. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive, with paint appearing to drip in places, evoking a sense of movement and transience. At the heart of the flower, small, almost hidden details emerge: dark dots and short lines that suggest the core without fully defining it. The composition plays with the contrast between light and dark; deep shades of blue lend depth to the shadows, whilst the lighter areas create a soft glow. This creates a harmonious tension between abstraction and recognisability. The work feels both modern and timeless, as if it were a snapshot of a flower slowly dissolving into colour and light. The subtle colour gradients and the absence of hard contours invite a meditative viewing experience, in which every glance reveals new nuances.
