Maffia chicken portrait

This ‘Mafia Chicken’ portrait painting proves that the most unlikely candidate can sometimes make the biggest impression. A chicken appears in a smart suit with a dark fedora, emerging from a deep black background in which everything except her head disappears. Her red comb stands out sharply against the surrounding darkness.

The humour lies in the complete absence of doubt. This chicken looks at you with a sharp, sidelong glance that betrays none of the usual skittishness, as if she knows exactly what she’s here to do. The fine feathers around her head catch the light in subtle highlights, the yellow beak points resolutely forwards and the red wattles move in time with her unflappable demeanour. The smart suit and hat complete the picture and take the whole composition just over the line from the absurd to the successful.

The stunning colours and exclusive design make this photo print a real eye-catcher that effortlessly holds your attention. Whether you hang it in the living room, the kitchen or a playful home office, it brings a sense of character, humour and stylish menace wherever it is displayed.

Anyone who loves farm animals in roles they should never have been cast in, gangster films or art with a cheeky twist will find a portrait here that brings a smile to your face time and time again. This chicken won’t let anyone push it around anymore.
