Misty City Skyline

‘Misty City Skyline’ depicts a colourful city with tall buildings rising above a mirror-like stretch of water. The skyline consists of slender towers and wider blocks in shades of blue, turquoise, pink and purple. In the centre, yellow and orange accents lend a light, warm glow. A soft grey sky surrounds the buildings, causing some of their outlines to fade slightly.

Beneath the city, the colours continue vertically in long, loose reflections. The bright turquoise streaks form a link between the buildings and the water, whilst darker sections along the waterline lend a sense of depth. The varying heights bring the skyline to life without any single recognisable landmark taking centre stage. Soft transitions alternate with more distinct rectangular shapes. As a result, it remains a cityscape with a free, abstract feel.

This colourful city by the water is ideal as wall art in a contemporary living room, study or hall. Blue and turquoise accessories complement the cool base; yellow or pink details can echo the warm highlights. Against a light-coloured wall, the soft grey surroundings remain visible. From a distance, you mainly see the skyline and its reflection; up close, the areas of colour, vertical lines and the alternation between misty and clear sections stand out.
