Moon and Earth in a glass sphere

The Moon and Earth in a glass sphere offer a striking view from the Moon’s surface, where the rugged, crater-strewn terrain gives way to an endless starry sky in which the Earth is visible as a small, blue-green jewel. The sharp shadows and textures of the lunar surface contrast beautifully with the soft glow of the distant planet on the horizon. At the base, the sphere rests on a glass plinth filled with small lunar rocks, lending the piece an extra dimension of authenticity.

The stark contrast between the grey lunar surface and the vibrant blue Earth on the horizon makes this a stylish photographic print that looks fascinating in any room. The countless stars in the background enhance the sense of infinite depth and cosmic stillness.

The fascination with the view of Earth from the Moon has its origins in the famous ‘ 'Earthrise'-foto's’ that astonished the world decades ago. This iconic perspective continues to inspire people to this day, fostering a sense of wonder at the beauty and fragility of our planet.

This is a striking addition to a minimalist, scientifically inspired space where wonder and tranquillity converge, such as an office, living room or study. This artwork is available on various materials and in a range of sizes to suit any desired style.
