Ede, in the province of Gelderland, has two sheepfolds with accompanying flocks of sheep. One herd runs on the Ginkelse Heide and the other on the Edese Heide. The sheepfold in the picture is the one of the large herd on the Edese Heide and is a national monument. The cage stands on the edge of the moor.
