Portrait of Maffia the hamster

This ‘Mafia Hamster’ portrait painting depicts a small rodent with a look that suggests you’d be better off not picking a fight with him. The hamster wears a dark fedora and a smart suit with a white shirt and a neat tie, dressed as if he were about to step into a private meeting. He emerges slowly from the deep darkness behind him, with only his head and shoulders caught in the light.

What makes this portrait so successful is the contrast between the soft grey fur with its long, fine whiskers and the cold, businesslike nature of the suit. His dark eyes look you straight in the eye, calmly and without hesitation, as if he knows exactly what he’s come to do. The light falls subtly on his muzzle and white collar, whilst the rest fades into the black. It is precisely this combination of a endearing little creature and a menacing, elegant presence that gives the image its humour and its edge.

The beautiful colours and exclusive design make this photo print a real eye-catcher that effortlessly holds your attention. Whether you hang it in the living room, a man cave or a rugged home office, it brings a sense of character, humour and stylish menace wherever it goes.

A quirky choice for lovers of animals with character, gangster style and wall art that’s just that little bit different. This piece of art will make you smile time and time again at the hamster presenting itself as a real mafia boss.
