Portrait of a Mafia gorilla

The ‘Mafia Gorilla’ portrait painting confronts you with a presence that seems to fill the entire room. From beneath the brim of a dark fedora, the imposing face of a gorilla emerges, whilst a tailored suit forces his massive frame into the straitjacket of civilisation. Everything around him is black, so that only his face stands out from the darkness.

It is the calmness that makes this portrait so ominous. Deep-set eyes look at you without haste and without threat in the classical sense, for this is the gaze of someone who has nothing to prove. The strong jawline, the broad nose and the fine texture of the coat stand out sharply in the sparse light, whilst the smart clothing adds a touch of refinement that only serves to emphasise the underlying strength.

The beautiful colours and exclusive design make this photo print an eye-catcher that effortlessly holds your attention. Whether you hang this piece in the living room, a man cave or a rugged home office, it brings a sense of power, character and stylish menace wherever it is displayed.

Anyone who loves powerful animal portraits, a cinematic gangster atmosphere or art with an edge will find here a piece that dominates the space without making a single move.
