About the artwork
A warm and soft portrait of a young woman with long hair in the wind. The work has dynamic lighting and creative use of blur. A 'natural beauty' in its'purest form. Her pose results in a beautiful interplay of lines.
The colour palette used creates a soft brown work that will fit nicely in many an interior. Because of the nude subject, it may be a bit daring, but it certainly contributes to the pure and innocent portrait it creates.
In my style of work, I like to use contrasts that can be discovered in the lighting, the subjects or the colour palette. I also like to use the colour red somewhere in a work, making this colour recur as a red thread in my works. Sometimes as a small accent or sometimes in a real leading role like the many works with red dresses.
