Pyramid of Chichén Itzá

About this work:
Chichén Itzá in Mexico was one of the most important cities of the Mayans and this is where the pyramid of Kukulcán is located. Really beautiful surroundings and very impressive to get so close. It's not on UNESCO's World Heritage List for nothing.

About Jeroen Berendse:
In daily life, I am a marketer. That means listening and watching customers carefully and using that knowledge to come up with relevant solutions. As a photographer, I actually do the same thing, with the difference that I listen to myself especially well.

Photography is a way of telling a story. Shaped into the perfect still image. A good photo takes your mind to a special place in the world, an event that makes you smile or puts your creative mind to work. And because this is very personal, the same photo evokes a different experience and feeling in everyone. In the photographer but also in the viewer.

My portfolio contains photos of many different subjects. You can find my complete portfolio in my shop at Werk aan de Muur and on my website www.jeroenberendse.nl.
