Red Evening, White Wine

This contemporary artwork combines photography, collage and graphic blocks of colour to create a powerful, summery image. Against an intense red background and a deep blue horizon, a large yellow sun appears, immediately bringing to mind a setting sun over the sea. In the foreground, an elegant, darkly rendered hand commands the viewer’s attention. The long, glossy red nails emphasise the fashionable character, whilst the hand subtly holds aloft a transparent wine glass, as if a toast were being made at that very moment. At the bottom, a colourful cloth with organic dots and a purple background add extra dynamism and texture. The combination of realistic elements with flat fields of colour creates an exciting contrast between minimalism and expression. The paper-like texture across the entire image gives the work a tactile, handcrafted feel, despite its modern composition. The empty space in the upper half allows the powerful colours to come into their own and creates a sense of calm and balance. The work depicts relaxation, freedom and the luxury of a carefree moment by the water. Thanks to its graphic design, powerful colour contrasts and contemporary feel, this is a striking work of art that fits perfectly into modern, design-oriented and colourful interiors.
