About the artwork

A powerful artwork that makes us reflect on our modern society and the way we are sometimes distracted from the beauty around us. The sculpture shows a young woman in a beautiful dress, standing on a rock and surrounded by the enchanting last light of the day. High above her, the moon shines brightly in the sky.

But instead of taking in her surroundings, her attention is fully focused on her mobile phone. She is immersed in her screen and seems oblivious to the beautiful nature around her.

This work raises questions about our modern society and the way we sometimes get caught up in the virtual world of technology and social media. It invites us to become aware of the beauty and meaningful moments we often miss when we become too absorbed in our digital devices.

By portraying this message, the artwork invites us to introspection and a more conscious relationship with our surroundings. It reminds us to put the mobile phone aside sometimes and enjoy the real world around us, full of wonders and beauty that can enrich and inspire us.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
