About the artwork
Apart from the eye of the beholder, there is not much of the beholder here. The latter is hidden here among the flowers of a work of art. A work of art intended for the viewer, who hopefully enjoys the colourful surrealistic artwork. After all, a spectator is not in the artwork. Fortunately, I would say not. Of course, the viewer is an important part of the work. After all, it is the viewer who judges and perhaps even condemns the work. Still, this work of art is primarily made for the artist and not for the viewer. Only when the artist is satisfied does the viewer get to see it. In this surreal work of a field of flowers, part of the field has been pushed aside to make some space for the viewer. There are wildflowers here and a lot of red, to show the passion an artist puts into the work. The colours of this work are therefore red, orange, white, black and yellow.
