Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Urban sunset’ by Color Square

This Retro image evokes the feel of a weathered vintage mural, a silent witness to a past glory. Palm trees as silhouettes against a background that seems to have stood the test of time. The colours - the vibrant orange underlay and fading blue overtones - suggest a sunset in an urban setting. The texture of the image adds to the nostalgic feel; it is as if we are looking at a wall on which many layers of posters and paint have left their own stories.

The artwork plays with contrast: the natural beauty of the palms contrasts with the urban, almost industrial feel of the colour areas and textures. It is a piece that evokes reflection on the relationship between nature and urban development, and how the two can coexist or clash.
