Vitruvian Man

‘Vitruvian Man’ presents a contemporary reinterpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’'’s famous drawing, in which the classical figure within a circle and a square has been replaced by a figure with long hair, a beard and a halo. The delicate, weathered lines on the yellowed paper and the precise geometric construction remain faithful to the original, whilst the new figure imbues the work with a religious, symbolic significance.

The weathered sepia and ochre tones of the parchment, combined with the delicate ink drawing, create a timeless and refined design, giving this photo print a classic look that will enhance any room. The precise linework lends the work an authentic, almost archival quality.

This composition draws its strength from the Renaissance tradition of the fusion of science and art, here enriched with a spiritual dimension that imbues the work with an entirely new layer of meaning. This creates a fascinating dialogue between classical precision and religious symbolism.

For a classic, artistic space where history and symbolism converge, this artwork forms a meaningful focal point. Whether hung in a living room, study or library with a timeless ambience, this piece makes for an evocative talking point. Available in various materials and sizes, this print blends effortlessly with any interior style.
