prominent staat de sint-janskathedraal in de skyline van 's-hertogenbosch: het profiel van de stad, gezien vanuit het bossche broek. het is een natuurgebied dat direct grenst aan de zuidelijke stadswallen. je zou kunnen zeggen: de bossche achtertuin. ooit was dit bedreigde natuur, maar tegenwoordig wordt het gebied niet (of minder)…

i once was a journalist working for dutch regional newspapers. the writing kind, not a photographer then. in the last years of my carreer in newspaperland i ended up as a freelance photojournalist en photographer, combining photography and writing. and now i am retired and my profession has turned into a hobby again. still i have that journalistic approach in my photographic work. i do a lot of streetphotography nowadays. and i like doing reportage, landscapes and portraits.
