This photo was taken at Reeuwijkse Plassen, South Holland, Netherlands. It was a cold winter day in January with plenty of sunshine and beautiful cloud cover. The warm glow of the sun just fell on the plants along the water's edge and on the water here, giving everything a golden edge.

For me photography means capturing images to tell a story. A story about how beautiful the world can be and how special even the smallest details are. Actually it is like writing, but instead of using words I take photographs.
