The lighthouse of Hellevoetsluis in the Netherlands. There was some movement in the clouds, allowing me to exploit my ND filter to my advantage. Luckily the sun was getting low and just behind some of the clouds, creating a splash of color in the sky as well.
Art on canvas looks great on any wall. It truly comes into its own with paintings featuring sharp brushstrokes.
My works originate from an idealistic representation of existing ideas that I have. With landscapes, I try to create the image in exactly the right circumstances so that the image comes as close as possible to this ideal picture. With the more creative compositions I think up a fantasy and try to execute it as beautifully as possible.
