About ‘Wash away’ by Sander Poppe

During our stay in Wales, we took an unforgettable hike past several impressive waterfalls. One of the highlights was the Sgwd Ddwli Uchaf waterfall, located near Pontneddfechan in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Known for its serene beauty, this waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, babbling brooks and ancient trees that create a fairytale atmosphere.

As you walk along the winding path, you can hear the soothing sound of falling water. The Sgwd Ddwli Uchaf is a wide waterfall, with the water flowing gracefully over the rocks to form a natural pool. The sunlight shines atmospherically through the trees, creating a magical play of light on the water's surface. This nature reserve is ideal for walkers, nature lovers and photographers who want to enjoy the best that South Wales has to offer.

The area around Pontneddfechan and the Brecon Beacons is perfect for unwinding, but also offers plenty of adventure. Take a longer walk along the "Waterfall Country" trails and discover multiple waterfalls, each with its own look and charm. A visit to the Sgwd Ddwli Uchaf is highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquillity, nature and unique photo opportunities in Wales. This special location lets you experience the beauty of the Brecon Beacons to the fullest.
