Young Rose Leaves After A Rain - On my way out to fetch my neighbors newspaper I saw the tiny water beats sitting on the young rose leaves. It gives the leaves the feeling of being bejeweled.
This macro photograph I photographed on an early Spring Sunday morning. The neighborhood is quiet lacking the traditional noice of cards driving by and lawnmowers running. Only the chirping of the birds and the soft rain make up the scene. A typical quiet sleepy Sunday. Walking by not distracted by the everyday activities I noticed this rose leave cluster.
The view is right at eye level allowing the light to catch the lights and you the viewer to see the texture and color of the young rose leaves and the tiny water drops resting on and at the edges around the leaves. A beautiful quiet and fresh macro art work.
Nature art incorporated into spaces adds a sense of well-being and peace. A place the mind can rest.
