About Marco Hoogma

Marco Hoogma started photography at the age of 10. What started with plane spotting soon grew into photographing nature, people and animals. It was therefore a logical choice for him to go to the school of photography to be trained as a photographer. For Marco, photography is like a thread in his life. A natural thing that gives him peace and energy. This is where he can express his creativity. His favourite subjects remain nature and animals. For Marco, photography is like magic: creating an image that speaks for itself in all its simplicity. It radiates tranquillity. For him, this is most evident in square cuts and black-and-white.
