I took this photo of a crocus in the backyard where it was blooming, this crocus was in a pot so I didn't have to bend far. The colour of this crocus is purple with white highlights, you can even see the yellow pistil. I chose to make a close-up of this crocus, it just didn't become a macro photo. You were also meant to see something of the yellow pistil. I did choose to leave this photo in its original 2:3 ratio so you can see the petals as well. You can also see some green from the other bulbs that are in the same flower pot as this crocus. The crocus is one of the first flowers to bloom in spring, though. I just took this photo out of hand so I could make the composition easier and faster.
