Pictured is an Amethis fungus in a beautiful autumn setting. The raised orange leaves next to the fungus really add to the composition. In the background, a beautiful orange autumn foliage and soft bokeh rings. In the bokeh, you can see blades of grass which gives the composition something extra.
As a lover of the colour purple, this beautiful toadstool naturally had to be photographed. The limited depth of field gives the photo a fairytale look.
The Amethyst mushroom is a fungus that is edible, if not in too large quantities because arsenic can accumulate in the mushroom. Personally, I found them too beautiful to pick and prefer to leave mushrooms for the animals living in the forest.
