The bearded male has a black 'hanging moustache' which you can see in the picture. Black stripe from the eye downwards. These songbirds often hang out in small groups in the reeds. It has a long tail with a grey head.
'In summer, they eat mostly insects and in winter they eat mostly reed seeds.
