Cool Cat on the Beach by KRAB

"Cool Cat on the Beach" is a quirky, graphic portrait of a slender black cat on a bright white beach. The cat sits bolt upright on a striped beach towel, legs stretched out, tail curled round itself. Its body is covered in playful, almost tribal patterns in white and black. The face is dominated by large, round sunglasses in a warm red, which immediately give the image an iconic, humorous twist.

Behind the cat, palm trees stand out against a calm sea and a large, almost moon-like sun or disc of light. The sky is a cool blue, filled with soft clouds and a flock of small birds. The composition is clean and minimalist, yet rich in detail in the fur, patterns and textures.

This piece is part of the special summer collection ‘ "Limited Cats on the Beach" ’: a limited-edition series of cats with character, each with their own style and quirkiness. The collection is only available during the summer and will disappear after 31 August, just like summer itself.

Suitable for living rooms, beach houses, studies and hotels looking for a playful, modern eye-catcher. Digital animal portrait art with a sunny, slightly surrealistic character. Digital art by Karina Brouwer (KRAB), created in Delft, the Netherlands.
